C.P. COMPANY RENEW THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH ADIDAS FOR THEIR 50TH ANNIVERSARY COLLABORATION.
Parallel to an era that saw the two brands commonly pieced together amongst their respective audiences, adidas Spezial and C.P. Company recently re-joined forces to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the honourable Italian casual-wear label. The new capsule collection is titled ‘Cinquanta’ and as part of the launch, England and Manchester United footballer Luke Shaw can be seen depicted in a giant piece of artwork on the side of the old NatWest building in Darwen, Lancashire – birthplace of Spezial head honcho, Gary Aspden.
Cloaked in premium leather, the shoe from the collection features an icy white upper with contrast militant greens featured on the tongue, heel counter and, of course adidas’ own signature three-stripe branding. With touches of suede and gold foil C.P. Company accents, this special Spezial gives way to the Torino red and green stripes on the sole, with placement ever-so coordinated the vintage adidas silhouette exclaims Forza Italia!
